If you head off the beaten track of the main shopping streets in London such as Oxford Street and Regent Street you will come across some of the best boutiques to shop at. Filled with unique labels and brands, they offer something a little different from London’s main high street stores. Here are my favourites:
The Shop at Bluebird
Located on the popular Kings Road in Chelsea, The Shop at Bluebird is owned by John and Belle Robinson who are the people behind successful fashion brand Jigsaw. The shop has a vast selection of designer clothing. Designers include Marc by Marc Jacobs, Isabel Marant, Sophia Webster and Issa London. As well as clothing, the boutique also stocks accessories, interiors and a selection of coffee table books. Relax in the café or indulge in the spa, which offers a number of beauty treatments from intensive facials to a deep tissue massage.

The Village Bicycle
If you are looking for an outfit to stand out in then The Village Bicycle is the boutique for you. In store you will find clothes that have their own quirky edge. Designers stocked include Unreal Fur, Eleven Paris, Hudson Jeans and We Are Handsome. Based just off Brick Lane this boutique has a funky interior just like you would expect from an East London store. They also have a wide range of lifestyle items, so pick up something cool for your home while you’re at it.

Mania Mia
Based in Fulham, Mania Mia has an array of stylish women’s contemporary fashion and accessories. With a selection of brands from all across the world, Mania Mia also has exclusive brands that can only be found in the UK in the Fulham store, such as: Danilo Gabrielli, Tata Naka, The Hip Tee and Global Connection. The downstairs part of the store also regularly hosts pop-up shops, seasonal fashion previews, art exhibitions and music evenings. The store is loved by the stars of Made in Chelsea who can regularly be seen popping in.

Goodhood
Goodhood is another of East London’s gems. The boutique opened a flagship store in September 2014 and carries a wide selection of womenswear, menswear and kidswear. There’s also a wide selection of jewellery, lingerie and also cosmetics from Sacha Juan and Aesop. Enjoy a drink in the new Goodhood Café COMMUNE.
