The Deal
The great British pursuit of horse husbandry can be sampled by adults and kids alike at High Beech riding school. Budding equestriennes and equestrians will first be introduced to the basic principles or horse handling and care, before climbing aboard for a 30-minute lesson in the indoor arena. Once secure in their seat and acquainted with their mount, riders can go out and take in the sights and sounds of Epping Forest on a 60-minute hack. After the hard day's ride, customers will then be treated to tea, coffee, biscuits and cakes to round off the day of countryside pursuits.
The Merchant
High Beech riding school is a family-run business which has been open for over 40 years and home to 100 horses. The school's Epping Forest location means that there are miles of countryside hack waiting to be explored, as well as an indoor arena where riders can receive tuition on their schooling and technique in all weathers. Pony parties and gymkhanas can be arranged for pony-mad kids, whilst adults can experience the wonder of horses through specially run team building and group activities, as well as private and group lessons for kids and adults of all abilities.
