Groupon finds out more about Loch Lomond Boat Hire.
What type of hire is available?
A family-run business, the team at Loch Lomond offer a reliable fleet of modern boats for hire. 'Premium' Jeanneau Cap 400 boats feature electric starts, a centre console with steering wheel, and are capable of holding up to four adults or two adults and three children. 'Fishing' Rigiflex 360 boats have tiller steering and hold up to four people. All boats come fully-equipped with fuel and life jackets. What fun can be had on Loch Lomond?
Any one of the boats available can be used for fishing, wildlife viewing, island hopping or a leisurely marine picnic on a fine sunny day. A map of the lock is kept on each boat with suggested routes suitable for different hire durations, and fuel is supplied.
Tell us about the Loch Safaris.
These water-bound safaris involve up to six boats being led around some of the area's stunning sights, stopping ashore for a breather halfway through. The guide will lead guests, providing commentary on the scenery throughout.
Anything else?
A range of more exotic watercraft is ready and waiting for intrepid watermen and women, including stand up paddleboards, katakanu, and skippered sailboats.
