The Deal

The Spanish tradition of sharing plates and social meals is kept alive at Hispania where guests can begin their meal with two or four tapas dishes to share such as patatas bravas (usually £5) and Iberian pork loin (£9.50). Main courses include the likes of a veal and pork burger (£13) or fillet of sea bass (£17), before guests move onto a sweet course such as almond cake with chantilly cream (£4.50) or cheesecake with passion fruit bavarois (£6.50). Meals will be accompanied by a coffee (£2.50) and digestif of Spanish liqueur (£5), and those looking to enjoy a tipple with their food can opt to include a glass of wine (£6) or cava (£5.75) each.

The Merchant

Hispania is a Michelin-recommended restaurant headed up by Marcos Moran as gastronomic director. Moran previously earned a Michelin Star at his Restaurant in Asturias, Casa Gerardo. Located in the heart of London City, the 9,000 square foot space houses a restaurant, bar, shop and take-away for all Spanish gastronomy needs. Designed by interior designer and antique dealer Lorenzo Castillo, the venue stays true to its Spanish roots and reflects the culture and architecture of the lifestyle.
