Diners can sit down to a classic Wimpy burger with chips and a drink. Single, double and open burgers are available, including the original quarter-pounder with cheese served in a brown bun with special sauce, and the fiery BBQ chicken in which a griddled chicken breast is combined with cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce and jalapenos. Vegetarians, meanwhile, could choose the lemon and pepper Quorn burger, and all the options are served with a side of fries and a choice of any drink on the menu. A family of two adults and two children can also dine, with options such as the sausage or chicken chunks meals available for youngsters.

The Merchant

Wimpy was the first chain of fast food burger joints to open in the UK, launching in 1954 under the name Wimpy Bar at a location on Coventry Street, London. Since then, Wimpy has expanded across the UK, the US and other parts of the world, and now also offers breakfasts and vegetarian items – it is the only fast-food chain to offer Quorn burgers. Its UK restaurants can now most commonly be found at seaside locations.
