The venue was easy to get too but not suitable for the instructor to teach/denonstrate the painting. The bar music was too loud and there were too many students, maybe 50/60 people packed in with very little room for all the essentials . The canvas was thin and not pre drawn like advertised. The paint was pre applied on small paper plates and quickly dried on there. Meaning you had to keep mixing more. Very soon you had no mixing space, no clean water or serviette. The instructor was running out of time, clearly tired of shouting and just seemed resigned to her impossible task. Great if your just having a laugh, drinking lots of alcohol from the bar , and occasionally from the paint water if you're not careful! I have an art background so i just did my own thing and got a lovely painting but my companions felt rushed and certainly not instructed at all. if your driving and not drinking and would actually like to learn something and have a piece of art at the end its not for you! I did have many people sat on tables behind me say that they just copied what i was doing because they didnt follow how to paint and there was a lack of decent instructions. All in all, great fun if you're not bothered about the painting and want to have a laugh with friends. The customer service team at paint events are very good at responding to emails quickly.Very glad it was half price thanks to groupon would have felt conned at the full price.
