What is permanent make-up?

Sometimes called semi-permanent make-up or cosmetic tattooing, permanent make-up is a process of delicately adding hypo-allergenic pigments in a range of shades to the outermost layers of the skin, most commonly the brows, eyes and lips.

Who is it for?

• Women who have little to no eyebrow hair.
• Sporty women who want their make-up to stay on during sports/working out
• Busy women who would like to save time applying make-up everyday
• Mature women whose brows/lip colour has diminished with age
• Sufferers from Alopecia/those having chemotherapy
• Sensitive skin types who are allergic to make-up
• Women with little to no eyelashes who would like a fuller look and more definition
• Women who would like to wake up with make-up!

The Process

You will be welcomed for your 1st appointment at our beautiful, modern and relaxing salon based in Northfleet. You should allow 2.5-3hours for your 1st appointment. Lisa will discuss your requirements and decide the best technique to be used to achieve the desired result.

We use a numbing cream to numb the area and spend a lot of our appointment time ‘mapping’ and pre drawing with cosmetic pencils on the face. Only once both are happy with the desired shape do we begin the micropigmentation process.

Lisa uses the ID Liner En Point device which is a digital machine with needles to embed small amounts of pigment to the outermost layers of the skin. This final process takes around 30-45minutes.

Will it hurt?

We use a numbing cream on the area before we start and during the process to make the treatment as comfortable as possible. Clients can usually feel the pressure but little to no pain, in fact some clients are so relaxed they fall asleep!

An Aftercare plan and ointment will be given to you at your appointment.
