A lovely afternoon tea with an over-generous amount of food and copious amounts of tea or coffee. Lovely, fresh sandwiches plus savouries such as small pork pies and sausage rolls followed by warm scones (along with the must have jam and cream) plus a muffin and a slice of Victoria sponge cake. All in all, it proved a little too much for us but take away bags were cheerfully provided. The setting for the afternoon tea has a very suitable Alice in Wonderland theme and is very tastefully done. Add in the great, friendly service and you can easily see why we have awarded 5 stars. Highly recommended.

Took my Mum for an early Mother’s Day afternoon tea and was so glad I chose Perfect Cupcakes. We ordered the large traditional afternoon tea for 2 and couldn’t finish it there was so much. We ended up taking 3 doggy bags home! The decor was fab and really quirky. It was surprisingly busy for a weekday, but we got a warm welcome from Emily and the service was second to none. The entire tea was homemade and really fresh. Emily’s scones are delicious, with a hint of shortbread flavour and her Victoria sponge took me back to visiting my Grandmas on her baking days❤️There was a full size cupcake with a whole strawberry on top - no bite size portions here. The savoury selection was huge, with lovely soft bread sandwiches stuffed with tasty fillings, pork pie, crisps, salad and a sausage roll for that knocks spots off a Greggs one😂 All washed down with a massive pot of steaming hot tea drank from dainty bone china cups and saucers. Emily was lovely and attentive, asking us if everything was alright and if we wanted another pot of tea. The value for money of this Groupon voucher was amazing and the fact it was in Cheadle and we didn’t have to traipse into Manchester city centre was an added bonus. I’ve never been to Perfect Cupcakes before, but I will certainly be going back and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending it to anyone looking for the perfect afternoon tea.
