Taking newbies soaring into the skies, this half-hour or one-hour lesson first lets guests take their pick from a choice of aircraft. Pilots can navigate a two-seater plane for a solo ride, or bring along two passengers to accompany them in a four-seater plane. An instructor will be on hand to take charge at the necessary moments, and to offer direction and advice.
Choose from the following options for a flying lesson:

The Merchant
Established in the early 1980s as a flying school, Ravenair has since branched out to offer a wide spectrum of aviation services. Based at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, the centre provides flying training for pilots at a basic and advanced level, helping them gain licenses such as PPL and commercial. The team also offers charters of multi-engine piston aircraft, and an aircraft management service to help clients take care of their flying machines.
