Really hard to redeem the Groupon voucher as code didn't work and had to ring them up on a weekday to sort it out. Also,circuit nearest me had no availavility within voucher time period so had to drive over an hour each way. I've done a lot of driving days and this one was the worst - too busy, hours of queueing/ waiting around and not enough driving time. Staff nice enough but just a production line. Own car parking £2, Mustang £39, Lambo Huracan £83, Damage waiver £39 (or risk £5k excess!), 3 extra laps £25, Ariel Atom hot lap £20 various photo/video options £50 plus food/snacks from various vans. Arrived 11.20 at busy Airfield with hundreds of people stood around to "experience the thrill" of..... waiting for name to be called - its more like a farmers market. Time slots are a joke /get longer. Finally drove "Speed" Mustang 2 laps at 13.40 (slot was 11.30) with over instruction, constantly told to let others pass and no chance for any speed, just pootled around. More hours of waiting/snoozing in the chair I brought with me to finally drive Huracan at 17.01 (slot was 15.30). Much better instructor Josh gave right amount of guidance, encouraged speed and we had priority this time for a proper drive. Truly awesome car, added 3 laps whilst on track (this is why waiting times lengthen on the app) and had an ear to ear grin for 5 mins. Over too quick, Josh kind enough to take a photo of me with the Huracan. I was shocked to see several pre-teen/young kids drive these supercars sat on 2 cushions and still struggling to see over the steering wheel. One kid drove a Lambo off track onto the grass - definitely get the damage waiver! Back to 40 min queue for hot lap. Worth it to just to get the best, unobstructed photos of the cars on the day. I usually love driving experiences but this one just wasn't special at all and I was glad to finally leave at 18.10. Thank God it stayed dry as there's hardly any cover. Hats off to the staff as they do an amazing job to be nice/patient but are overwhelmed by hundreds of (Groupon) customers. Just smacks of a money-making racket - I definitely won't book with Car Chase Heroes again. Won't be recommending this to others.
