About Llechwedd Slate Caverns

Situated near the historic mining town of Blaenau Ffestiniog, Llechwedd Slate Caverns offer a range of attractions for a family day out. There is an on-site slate workshop, where guests can watch the team make slate signs, numbers and gifts, before trying their hand at crafting one or two items. There are also downhill bike tracks and a subterranean playground with giant bouncy nets, as well as an on-site cafe where guests can refuel after a day full of exploration.
