About Grosvenor Park Miniature Railway

Set up in spring 1996 by a group of railway enthusiasts led by Robin Butterell, Grosvenor Park Miniature Railway is located just a few minutes' walk from Chester city centre. Its quarter-mile circuit runs through trees and around a lake, boasting three level crossings and a bridge, along with its own station building and an engine shed. Grosvenor Park Miniature Railway operates steam and diesel hauled trains, as well as a static electric Thomas ride and children's self-drive train. Featuring a refurbished play area, a visitor centre and a cafe, the venue provides people of all ages with various opportunities to relax and have fun.
