About Wiltshire Museum

Located in Devizes since 1874, the Wiltshire Museum contains the largest public collection of early Bronze Age gold in England. Awarded with a Visit England Quality Rose Marque, the venue features 500 Stonehenge period objects, together with a vast array of items that can be of note to anyone interested in archaeology, art, natural history and local history. The on-site archive and library are also available to visitors. The museum hosts a variety of events, lectures and special exhibitions.
