Very nice. Good service and it was nice to have extra savoury bits with the sandwiches. Usually find to much cake but this venue was well rationed
About The Old Red Lion
The Old Red Lion is situated in the quiet village of Tetsworth, Oxfordshire (5 minutes from Thame, Oxon).
The pub is located opposite the village green, where cricket is played every Sunday in the summer. Also on the village green is a large enclosed childrens play area.
The Old Red Lion in Tetsworth offers a warm and friendly atmosphere to any visitor. With our relaxing bar area, formal restaurant serving traditional pub food, which seats up to 28, and the Library room for private dining that opens out to a patio area.
The heated patio area with seating is great for summer barbeques and spit roasts. The patio area is also ideal for those lazy summer afternoons just watching the beautiful Red Kites that fly over frequently.

Myself and my friends regularly do afternoon tea as I get together and I have to say this is the best one we have ever done. Food is great at the staff are amazing. We won't be going anywhere else from now on.

We had a very nice afternoon tea. Plenty of food, sandwiches, quich and sausage rolls, scones and pastries and trifle! Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Will definitely visit again

An absolute bargain, really friendly service and a proper old fashioned afternoon tea including individual trifles.
We had plenty to eat and it was delicious.
Not often that you get great value for money but Im delighted to say that this was one of those rare times. Go and treat yourself!

The red lion is a pub, shop and local meeting place. Nice people, very friendly. Fairly basic afternoon tea, not a wow factor but pleasant enough
