About Lindores Abbey Distillery

Lindores Abbey Distillery lies on Abbey Road in Newburgh and offers their visitors history lessons in a form of experiences and tours. The earliest aqua vitae was made at Lindores Abbey as long ago as in 1494, with the formula undergoing slight changes over the centuries. Today, patrons are welcome to hand-craft their own bottle-full under the watchful eye of Lindores Abbey Distillery own professional apothecary, Tim Foster.
