We had a delicious meal in a beautiful (if a bit chilly) dining room. The staff were all lovely and the service was good.

From the start to the end it was wonderful, excellent value for money. Clare who was working in reception was amazing. Could not do enough ensuring we had all we needed.
The afternoon tea was nice and lots too it. The scnes were amazing but the cakes were a bit dry and shop brought would have been nicer if they were homemade.
Having your own hot tub was amazing and personal and the setting was stunning. Would definatly recommend.

An amazing venue that served delicious food. Our starters included squid and a gorgeous large piece of melted brie. Then the roast beef arrived. Two large thick slices of tasty beef with roasted vegetables, a large Yorkshire pudding and gravy to die for. Finally the puddings didn’t disappoint. We had a huge chunk of apple pie, gooey chocolate brownie, lovely cheesecake and very sticky toffee pudding! Overall 10 out of 10 for food quality and the service was first class.
At normal price it’s a great meal and I wouldn’t complain, but at the Groupon price it’s out of this world. We will definitely be going back to this lovely old hotel very very soon!
