Yesterday I took my mum to the ideal Christmas show at the Olympia. The journey was easy and straightforward. We got the central line to Shepherd’s Bush then it was just one stop on the overground. The Olympia is a short walk from station. Food and drink is pricey at the Olympia so we had lunch at the bull pub just by Westfield shopping centre. Outside the Olympia there was fake snow and model reindeer’s, it looked lovely. The Christmas market itself was very varied in terms of stalls. Lots to see and to buy. Really nice atmosphere. There was a lady singing Christmas songs and she was really good. I will definitely go back next year.

Brilliant day loads to see and do just a shame venue isn’t open for longer hours

It was very crowded, noisy and hot. It would have been vastly improved if there had been approximately 25% less stands.

The venue is great and the staff are helpful. However more seating is needed at the eating areas inside the show. I think the actual Home Show could have been better quality. The range of vendors was disappointing. Not sure I would go back.

I’m not sure who to blame, but our Groupon tickets did not arrive, even after exchanges of emails with Groupon. We were lucky that the Ideal Home let us in after showing the emails, confirming that we were genuine. But it was a fraught time. Use Groupon again? Maybe not

Our first time going and expected it to be full of Christmas decorations/trees/lights etc.Only a few stalls were Christmas related..the rest were for radiators,baths,shutters etc.I know it’s the Ideal Home Show Christmas but it was nowhere near what we were expecting.Very disappointing.

The last two visits to the ideal home now ..no goody bags have been available.Thus use to be a nice bonus.

Too crowded and full of tat. First and last time I will be attending. Very disappointing.

I've been scammed. Bought two tickets for Sunday 26 and been mis sold two tickets for Friday 24 November. And I haven't even visited the event and it says it's been redeemed. Complete con.
