The team at the five-star Chilworth London aim to offer a wide range of hospitality services while avoiding the depersonalised atmosphere of sizeable hotels. The spa and massage was 1000/10 it was amazing. Hot stone massage was exceptional. But the afternoon tea was a very big let down, basic tea offered, the tiny cakes very ice cold like fresh out the frozen packet they looked like icelands ones to be honest. Sandwhich selection was dissapointing. Id deffo say get massage and spa.

very easy to use use, the staff was lovely and friendly, we had exclusive use of the spa, we both had a aromatherapy massage which we love, was given towels and slippers to use, afternoon tea was lovely and the cakes was fantastic, the coffee was full of flavour, we was booked in for 2:30 but went for tea at 13:30 and they didn’t mind at all.

Incredible value! I took my partner for his birthday, the spa allowed us to shift the order of massage, spa and afternoon tea. The most lovely people and I can confirm the afternoon tea was traditional - cream scones, sandwiches, cakes, macaroon. Highly recommend!

Thoroughly enjoyed the jaccuzzi and steam room. Massage and facial were great. Changing and shower areas intimately bijou, but adequate for 4 persons. Organised very well with very pleasant and professional staff on hand. Afternoon tea was okay, selection of sandwiches and quality of bread could be improved, but again staff and restaurant very nice.

I enjoyed using the spa facilities which was nice and quite , but for the treatment, the therapist did not do a good job as I am still in pain, kinda rude too, she also finished the treatment early … the afternoon tea was alright not that tasty or anything special… overall I still think it wasn’t worth it … like I won’t go again there

At first the hotel looks nice and there is parking outside the hotel. When we arrived to the spa nobody was there to greet us. The room was closed. When someone did arrive it was a masseuse who looked a bit confused and took us into the spa room. The spa room consisted of a shower, shower and toilet, sauna and a jacuzzi (which was green coloured maybe due to the lights, but not very appealing to the eyes) smelt a bit of damp and produced a lot froth/ foam. I didn’t get a clean feel and didn’t want to get in. The lockers were broken in the men’s locker room which they knew about but still gave us codes for them. The lockers are a bit small. They did provide us with slippers and towels- good. There was no water provided despite the ‘manager’ telling us to drink lots before using the sauna. The fridge was empty, the water tanks were empty and we were given a cup of water (not sure where the water was from, a tap maybe?) We then had a massage which my partner mentioned his masseuse had long nails and was running up and down his spine. Not very good. Mine on the other hand was better and did crack a few knots but I’ve had better. The relaxing music got interrupted but an advert about Ukraine.- Not great. We then had afternoon tea: You were given sandwiches with: pesto - very salty and upset both our stomachs Hummus, egg and salmon and cucumber which were very salty and had no other flavour. The scones left a horrible feeling in your mouth, fuzzy tongue, teeth and mouth.- it gave me a belly ache after eating the food. All members generally didn’t seem to be happy working there. They tried bless them but you know they’re there for a pay check and don’t enjoy being there. You could feel the energy. They should invest in their spa facilities, food and staff. Overall not the best experience. Below average but every experience is different.
