About Newburn Motor Museum
Newburn Motor Museum is home to over 25 vehicles at a Newcastle location. The collection ranges from vintage Mini Cooper, Alfa Romeo and Austin models to modern cars such as a Ford Escort and VW Golf. The museum was founded in 1979 and is housed within the wood-panelled halls of a former Territorial Army base built in 1924. In addition to the cars, the halls also feature period artwork, motoring artefacts and other historic exhibits. Attendees can browse the varied collection and may opt for a tour of the site led by a knowledgeable guide.
