About Darwin's Kitchen

Darwin's Kitchen, named after the great scientist and former Shrewsbury resident Charles Darwin, offers a serene retreat in the centre of the town. The kitchen serves a variety of dishes, from seafood and grilled meat to a wealth of vegetarian options to choose from, inspired by cuisines from all over the world, such as Japanese, French, Thai and Italian. Guests can sit in a tropical conservatory, in cosy leatherbound sofas, or opt to stay the night in one of the four boutique bedrooms, including one suite. Good food tastes even better with good music, and on selected nights live performances are held in the Jazz Club.
