About Eling Tide Mill Experience

Situated beside Southampton's New Forest, Eling Tide Mill is among the last working tide mills in the UK and may be one of the oldest in the world, with some documents hinting at as many as nine centuries of history behind it. The Grade II listed building serves as a museum honouring the UK's industrial heritage. Visitors can also get a close view of the unrestored millstones, take a walk along the river, visit the on-site cafe and even buy a bag of flour.
