I booked the afternoon tea for my sister in law’s birthday. It was the first day back after Xmas so it was very quiet. The atmosphere was lovely though and we didn’t feel uncomfortable at all. The staff were lovely and made you feel welcome. We couldn’t have asked for better food we enjoyed all of it. We had a selection of egg mayo on seeded bread , chargrilled chicken rolls and smoked bacon blt sandwiches. The desserts were lovely but we couldn’t finish everything so we got to take them home in a box. I’d definitely recommend this offer.

We visited the V&G Bar for afternoon tea with Prosecco , the young lady brought our food which looked very nice with a selection of sandwiches, small meringue cakes and scones with jam and clotted cream, I was a bit disappointed in the fact that the sandwiches were on thick bread and with the thick filling made them hard to eat and filled us up before we could have the cakes, also we were offered only one cup of tea or coffee , I was disappointed in the presentation ,( please refine). The staff were very helpful and friendly .
