Staying for 3 nights with our dog Jet, from the outset there was a welcoming smile and detailed briefing from the lady on reception and it didn't stop there. Nothing was too much trouble whatever the request, all the staff excelled in sorting out our various queries and problems eg. we needed to store some fresh chicken slices used to disguise Jet's treatment tablets and powder, the receptionist tried to change our room for one with a fridge but was unable to manage it due to previous booking but she sorted the problem using the help from the kitchen and breakfast team so that Jet's chicken was kept fresh and produced when needed. We also had tasty evening meals with wine and Wainwrights bitter which were excellent. Overall an excellent choice of Hotel made even better by the efforts of all the staff who were very efficient and well organised, someone always on hand.
