Located right next door to the Royal Navy’s airbase at RNAS Yeovilton, the Museum tells the fascinating story of naval flight in a unique setting with plenty on offer to excite visitors of all ages. Climb inside the first supersonic Concorde 002, a Sea King Search and Rescue helicopter and experience life at ‘full throttle’ as you climb in our Vampire cockpit. You can also board a Wessex helicopter and land on the deck of HMS Ark Royal for the Aircraft Carrier Experience. The museum is located on a working naval air station there is even the chance of spotting real naval aircraft taking flight! Why not enjoy a break in the licensed café. We also have a picnic area, adventure playground and gift shop. The museum offers free parking. A great day out for the whole family.
