Led by a fully qualified instructor, this 90-minute family lesson will start with the chosen activity introduction and safety briefing. Families will learn the basics of the activity and give it a go themselves. Depending on the abilities of the group the instructor may teach further techniques and skills.
Established in 1981, Ackers Adventure Centre provides access to adventures involving water, snow, and scalable rocks. Adrenaline-seekers can try snowboarding, canoeing and kayaking as well as climbing, abseiling or archery. The facility is located between Tyseley and Small Heath train stations with the entrance on Golden Hillock Road.
