The Deal

Three courses of European fare awaits guests to ALBA restaurant, with each meal accompanied by a glass of Prosecco (usually £7) for each person. As well as a main course, such as a saffron and red pepper risotto or a pan fried fillet of salmon, diners may opt to include a second course (£19.50 per person). While starters include foie gras and chicken liver parfait, or haricot green beans served with roasted pistachios, dessert options range from a dark chocholate tart to a passion fruit crème bruleè. Alternatively, guests can go all-out with all three courses (£24.50).

The Merchant

For over 25 years, ALBA Restaurant has served a concoction of Italian dishes to the folk of central London. Found within walking distance of Barbican and Moorgate tube stations, the restaurant boasts an elegant dining room, as well as two private rooms for special occasions. Next door is the ALBA coffee bar, where hot and cold refreshments keep tourists and city-workers alike fueled throughout the week. A brimming wine menu accompanies meals, with tipples from all corners of Italy available.
