- Named for its slender, snaking foliage, Allium 'Medusa' has an intriguing twist to the tip of each leaf
- The grey-green foliage forms a rounded clump that creates useful ground cover if planting in dense groups
- In early summer, globes of lollipop flower-heads perch upon slender, upright stems
- Flower buds with a nodding, viper-like appearance that straighten as they open
- Purple blooms bring a striking vertical accent to planting schemes
