About Athelhampton House and Gardens

Stepping through the doors of Athelhampton, visitors get a taste of the 15th century as they are immersed in its majestic Tudor interior. Guests can explore the building's Great Chamber, library and wine cellar, or browse the artwork on display in the Marevna Gallery. Outside, a woodland landscape and natural river boundary frame the formal gardens, which were created in the late 19th century. As groups take a stroll in the direction of the historic dovecote, they will pass towering sculpted yew trees that line the Great Court, as well as the Corona, Topiary Pyramids and Octagonal Pond. A choice of dining venues are also available for those seeking refreshment.
