In between competitive bouts of cue action, up to four guests can tuck into a choice of food platter and refresh themselves with beer. Two, four or a family will enjoy three games of snooker in up to two hours of table time, sinking pots on a full-size table. Each player can sip a beer such as Carling, Cobra or Guinness, a hot drink or a soft drink such as Slush Puppie, and replenish energy levels with a food sharing platter. Snack options include: a family sharer with burgers, hot dogs and curry fries; an Asian-themed platter with samosas and spring rolls; or a platter with spicy chicken wings and breaded mushrooms. Games are available daily from 10.30am until late, and a session of bowling can be added for a £4 supplement for two.

The Merchant

A hub for sports-mad families and partygoers alike, Blackpool Snooker lets players test their skills on seven full-size snooker tables. They can also try their hand at pool and bowling, with the centre open daily from 10.30am until late to allow for both daytime and nighttime fun. The team welcomes nuptial celebrations, hen nights and birthday parties, allowing for guests to make use of a private function suite complete with a dance floor. The MFA Bowl bar can also be hired out for events, in addition to serving up hot food and drinks to hungry players throughout the week.
