The Big Day

Up to 50 friends and family can come together in the countryside surroundings of Blackstock Farm to celebrate a happy couple’s special day. They’ll be greeted with two welcome drinks of Pimms or Buck’s Fizz plus a glass of sparkling wine for toasts, and have exclusive use of the converted, scenic sites of The Tudor Barn and The Granary. A three-course breakfast will be served, featuring a starter such as pâté, main such as roast pork, and a dessert such as sticky toffee pudding, and the group can hold up a glass of sparkling wine for a toast. A bridal room provides a space for newlyweds to freshen up and prepare throughout the day, and they can also upgrade to bridal accommodation for £250 per night, plus a £50 deposit.

The Venue

Nestled in the heart of the East Sussex countryside, the 400-year old Blackstock Farm is a renovated space which plays host to functions little and large. With many original features still intact, the atmospheric site holds weddings for over 180 guests, letting them mingle on a landscaped courtyard as they look out across the South Downs. Attractions for kids include an open farm with a diverse herd of animals, adventure play area with bouncy castles, and a high-speed zip wire. A farm cafe and shop showcases local produce, letting visitors tuck into cream teas, homemade cakes and ciders. The farm is easily accessible from the A22 and A27 to Brighton, and is open seven days a week.
