The Deal

Anyone fanatical about Indian cuisine, and craving the knowledge to master their favourite foods in the kitchen, can choose between three classes in Indian cookery.

‘An Introduction to Indian Spices’ is a level 1 class, and will cover the spices used to create rich flavours in Indian curries. The course lasts about two and a half to three hours, and will include cooking Hyderabad chicken, preparing Pilaf rice and making Udupi potatoes.

‘Mastering the Indian Staples’ is a more technical level 2 class, lasting three hours, and includes a hands-on demonstration in mixing and making onion bhajis and Indian breads. During the class, pupils will also cook a South Indian chicken Kali Mirch, prepare yellow tadka dal and make classic saag aloo.

The ‘Chicken Tikka Masala Class’ is a three-hour class demonstrating how to make chicken tikka, from marination to cooking. Students will also cook a tikka masala sauce, a mushroom side dish and channa aloo masala, a chickpea and potato dish.
