What kind of plants are sold at the centre?
Since it was opened 20 years ago, the garden centre has been selling both shrubs and perennial plants. Today, its variety is huge, with ornamental trees, roses, ferns, climbers, rhododendrons, bamboos, alpines and Japanese maples just a few of the plants on offer.
What else is sold?
Garden furniture is also available, ranging from benches to hammocks, and gazebos to parasols. A stunning range of Swiss Grill BBQs are also offered with two-year guarantees for summer barbecuing, while paving needs are also seen to.
Are refreshments available?
Early visitors can enjoy breakfast in the coffee shop, while those arriving after 11.30am will be just as satisfied with the selection of hot drinks, homemade cakes, fresh sandwiches, salads and jacket potatoes, and real fruit smoothies - not to mention the decadent milkshakes made with ice-cream and toffee fudge.
