Handbuilding:

• During this two hour session, you will utilise the traditional techniques of handbuilding like coiling, slabbing, and pinch pot, to create beautiful pieces and develop a practice that embraces organic forms.

• This course is great for beginners or anyone who'd like to rekindle their love for handbuilding.

• By the end of the two hours, you'll have your very own creation with the option to fire and glaze it (an additional £5). For more information about our cancellation policy, please see our FAQ section.

• This session is BYOB so please bring your own drinks and snacks and enjoy your friday evening with us!

• Please wear old clothing and have trimmed nails as you will be getting stuck in!

Pottery Painting:

• This is the painting workshop that everyone is waiting for! During this session, you will learn how to paint your own unique piece with underglaze. This workshop is great for beginners or anyone who'd like to paint and create their own special patterns/shapes. All materials are provided in the workshop, including a selection of pots to choose your favourite from. You are welcome to upgrade for additional pots for an additional fee, which varies according to the size of the pots.

• By the end of the class, you'll have your very own creation and get fired. The pots will be ready to be collect around 4 weeks. For more information about our cancellation policy, please see our FAQ section.

• This session is BYOB so please bring your own drinks and snacks and enjoy your Friday evening with us!

Notes:

• Please note that due to the nature of clay, results may differ from expectation, including but not limited to:
  • Glaze may vary from examples and are for reference only
  • Texture created may not shown in the final result
  • Pots will appear smaller from what you created from class, since clay have a 15% shrinkage
  • Pots may be cracked or exploded

We try our best to mitigate this problem but these are inevitable. Unfortunately, the class is non-refundable and we are only able to reimburse you if your work exploded.

Good to Know

• BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) is available for both options must be 18 + to consume alcohol.
• Valid Fridays at 7.30 p.m.
• By the end of the two hours, you'll have your very own creation with the option to fire and glaze it (an additional £5 payable on the day).
• Please wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty to this session.
• There will be aprons available in the studio.
• You can take one piece to home
