On a visit to Colwick Hall Hotel, patrons can tuck into assorted finger sandwiches, enjoying flavours such as rare topside of beef with horseradish, ham hock and piccalilli, and roasted vegetables with spicy tomato sauce. These will be accompanied by fresh scones with jam and cream and a selection of cakes such as Victoria sponge and lemon chiffon. A selection of fine blends of tea and coffee is also included. Guests then have the option of staying refreshed with an optional glass of Prosecco. Customers should note that menu items are subject to change.

The Merchant
The ancestral home of the poet Byron, the Colwick Hall Hotel is a listed Georgian mansion that originally dates back to the 11th century. Set within 60 acres of sprawling country grounds the hotel plays regular host to conferences and weddings, with its 1776 Grand Ballroom able to seat up to 90 guests in plush surroundings. It is also home to Byron’s Brasserie, a restaurant serving classic British fare and afternoon teas.
