• Cornus Kousa is an unusual flowering dogwood - a hardy tree
• Can be grown as a specimen tree
• Will produce small green flowers surrounded by starry white flowers each summer
• As autumn approaches, the flowers are replaced by strawberry-like fruits
• Although edible, the fruits of Cornus kousa look better than they taste, so they are best left on the branches
• In the autumn the bright green foliage turns to a vibrant shade of crimson-purple
• Supplied as a pot grown plant in a 9cm nursery pot (height at delivery 10-12cm)
• At maturity expect a height and spread of 5m (16’)
• Plant Cornus in a sunny or semi shaded position, on fertile, moist, well drained, acid to neutral soil
• Incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to improve the soil prior to planting, mixing it thoroughly and deeply
