- Deep blue-green divided foliage in neat clumps give rise to red-tinged stems
- Produces blue tubular flowers with white throats from late spring until mid-summer
- Neat and compact form makes this plug suitable for planting at front of beds and borders
- As the plant dies back the leaves will yellow and the stems wither
- When new growth emerges in spring, add a slow-release fertiliser to the soil to encourage longer blooming, and continue to feed and water throughout the growing season
- Supplied as a single plug (10-15cm), ready to pot up and grow on or plant out
- Grows up to 30cm
- Best grown in humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in a semi-shaded position
- Will grow well in a sunny border if kept regularly watered to stop it from becoming dormant in the summer
