About This Deal
Mountain Experience
Have you ever wanted to see the Snowdonian mountains from the air? Well, now you can fly over the highest point in England and Wales in a Motor Glider!
Take in the breathtaking scenery in style, making a truly memorable experience.
We will take off from our gliding club near Denbigh, then head west to the main bulk of Snowdonia.
If the weather allows us, we will go over the top and have a birds eye view of the Snowdon peak.
Your BGA Qualified Instructor will show you have the controls of the aircraft work, before giving you the opportunity to fly the aircraft for yourself.
Coastal Experience
Stunning views combined with history is what this flight experience in our Motor Glider is all about.
There are a number of castles en route which may be of interest to some, adding historic value in addition to stunning natural coastal scenery to the flight!
From take-off, we head north towards the coast, over the seaside towns of Prestatyn and Rhyl. There we follow the coast to The Great Orme, Llandudno.
Your BGA Qualified Instructor will show you have the controls of the aircraft work, before giving you the opportunity to fly the aircraft for yourself.
Instructional Experience
Take to the controls of the Motor glider in flight and learn how they work over the North Wales skies. Your BGA Qualified instructor will introduce you to, and demonstrate the controls, before handing over control to you to experience for yourself.
This experience will take about 30 minutes, from take-off to landing.
Please note that this is weather dependent experience, which will be confirmed or postponed the day before your booking.
There is upper weight limit of 16 stones/100kg.

Persons under 16 must have guardian-signed waiver. Subject to weather. Please arrive 30 minutes early. May be repurchased every 30 days. Valid only for option purchased. Expires 3 months after purchase. If the experience is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions or for technical reasons, merchant will offer an alternative date.
About Denbigh Flight Training
Denbigh Flight Training offer a range of motor glider flights to suit your budget and the type of flight you would like to experience. All of them will be with a British Gliding Association qualified instructor, who will demonstrate to you how the controls work, before handing control of the aircraft over to yourself so that you can experience flying of the stunning North Wales scenery for yourself.
Our modern and disabled friendly facilities will welcome you to Denbigh, and provide you with a place to receive your welcome and safety briefing, as well as somewhere warm and dry for an guests you may have with you to watch you take off and land. We have tea and coffee making facilities and a small selection of snacks available.
