Serving cinephiles for 75 years, Dominion Cinema is a boutique theatre located in the heart of Morningside. Mainstream releases are screened alongside homegrown and independent films. The cinema's interior harks back to the golden age of the silver screen, with leather seating and a classic, deep-red colour scheme. Four screens host afternoon and evening showings, private functions, parties, and events such as Edinburgh International Film Festival screenings. Their box office is open Monday to Tuesday 3pm-9pm, Wednesday to Friday 12.30pm-9pm and Saturday to Sunday 11.30am-9pm.
