About This Deal
The Deal
With bridges, blustery islands and all manner of wildlife to gaze on, the valiant Forth Belle will escort guests on a cruise of the iconic Firth of Forth. The 90-minute trip offers views of the 19th-century rail bridge and 20th-century road crossing, as well as the party-built new bridge, flying the flag for the 21st century. Sailors can stand on the outdoor observation decks for a chance to see local wildlife, including seabirds and seals. Alternatively, the heated lounge offers shelter and refreshments.
The Merchant
The team at Forth Boat Tours send clients on voyages for daytime sightseeing, traditional excursions and evening boogies. Departing from Hawes Pier in South Queensferry, or Town Pier in Fife, trips aboard the Forth Belle come complete with cafe and bar facilities, while live music and dance events can also take place on deck. From 1 April, cruises will sail downstream to Inchcolm Island, with an opportunity to land during most cruises, for a surcharge. Landing passes are bought on the boat on the day and cost £5.50 for adults, £4.40 for over 60s and £3.30 for children aged 5 - 15. Under 5s and members of Historic Scotland are free.
