Bivouac Swinton

Situated on the edge of the picturesque Yorkshire Dales National Park, Swinton Bivouac is part of the 20,000 acre Swinton Estate that boasts views over the moorland and valley below and is home to the Druid’s Temple folly constructed during the late 1800s.

At Swinton Bivouac, guests can stay in Tree lodges, hidden away in woodland a five-minute walk from the bivouac shop and cafe, or opt for one of the seven Mongolian-inspired Meadow Yurts with a panoramic viewpoint of North Yorkshire. Both of these accommodation options are un-electrified to provide a true rural experience. Guests who can’t exist without a reading light can stay in The Loft and The Snug on the first floor of a converted farmhouse. There’s also a private shower room with toilet.

Shower facilities, shop and the cafe are located in the farmhouse and barn. The Bivouac cafe offers snacks, coffee, cake and lunch including dishes made from local produce.
