The Deal

Two or four people can take to the Sidewinder Lake or Canal for a day of coarse fishing. Available from 8am to 6pm seven days a week, a breakfast roll is also included, as is a kilogram of ground bait for use over the visit. Participants are asked to bring one of their own rods to use, while extras can be used for an additional £2 per rod and more bait can be purchased from £1. Alternatively, options are available to spend three nights on the site with a pitch for four people. Coming along with their own tent or caravan, a breakfast roll is included for each visitor on one morning during their stay. Additional guests under the age of eight can come along for free, while children over eight can be added for £3 each, and over 15s for £5, up to a maximum of three extra guests. A dog can also come along for a £1.50 supplement per pitch.

The Merchant

Set in rural mid-Sussex, More House Farm Fisheries currently boasts three lakes, bordered for the most part by open countryside. The Kingfisher lake contains the likes of common, mirror and ghost carp, as well as catfish. The Canal features 20 pegs for match fishing, with the water being home to carp, tench, barbel and silver fish. The newest lake, Sidewinder, was completed in 2009 with 50 pegs and offers chub, skimmers, bream and carp. Camping and caravanning pitches are on hand for extended stays, with refreshments available on-site
