The Tours
During a 12-day luxury stay travellers will visit and experience some of the greatest attractions of millennia -old culture of China. Highlights include the Forbidden City of Beijing, the Sky Palace and the Great Wall of China. Accommodation in Shanghai, Guilin, Yangshuo, Longji, Sanjiang, Miao and Beijing is ensured by a choice of 4 or 5 star hotels.
Start of the tour program for both options on the following dates: 12, 22, 25 September, 5, 12, 15, 25 October 2015.
The Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Shanghai
Tourists must check-in at the hotel. Free time for the rest of the day. Hotel: five star Wyndham Bund East Shanghai (Siping Rd, Yangpu, Shanghai, China) or similar.
Day 2: Shanghai (full board)
After breakfast travellers will visit the Shanghai Museum. Free time afterwards to do some shopping the Nanjing Street. Then the visit to the Bund will allow holidaymakers to experience the modern Shanghai. After dinner, an exciting acrobatic show is scheduled.
Day 3: Shanghai-Guilin (full board)
Visitors will fly to Guilin, after which they will go on a short city tour. Check-in at hotel. Hotel: five star Grand Link Hotel (42 Chuanshan Rd, Guilin, Guangxi, China) or similar.
Day 4: Guilin (full board)
After breakfast, holidaymakers are invited to go on a trip to the symbol of Guilin – the elephant hills – and visit a typical tea plantation.
Day 5: Guilin-Yangshuo (full board)
After breakfast, a private coach takes visitors to Yangshuo. From there, they will embark on a river cruise on the Li River along a wonderful landscape and passing the Sugar Loaf Mountains, getting to see the spectacular and unique shapes of the hills. Holidaymakers will sleep in Yangshuo. VIP tickets for the „Impressions Liu Sanjie“ show can be booked (reservation prior to departure with the partner). This open-air music and light show in the natural landscape of Yangshuo offers a breathtaking experience with more than 600 participating actors during performances by Zhang Yi Mo, one of China’s most famous directors. The spectacle presents the history of the third sister of the Liu family (Liu San Jie, a symbolic figure of the region) and thus combines in the show the culture of the Chinese minorities of Guangxi with the development of Chinese art. Hotel: five star Yangshuo Jasper international Hotel (No.1 Tianyuan Road , 541900 Yangshuo, China) or similar.
Day 6: Yangshuo- Longji (Zhuang-Village) (full board)
Arrival by coach to Longji, where the famous rice terraces are visited, with a history reaching back to the Yuan Dynasty. A trip to a typical village of the Zhuang region is then scheduled. Hotel: four star Longji International Hotel (Bei’an Development Zone, Longsheng County 541709, China) or similar.
Day 7: Longsheng-Sanjiang (Dong-Dorf) (full board)
A coach takes travellers to Sanjiang, one of the most beautiful villages of the country, which is inhabited by the Dong minority. They visit the village with the thatched wooden houses of the Dong, as well as watchtowers decorated with frescoes. In addition, they will get to know the “Wind-rain bridges” which are considered as an example of the typical architecture of the Dong. Accommodation in Sanjian for the night. Hotel: five star SanjiangDongxiang Guest House (Xunjiang River, close to the Fengyu Bridge).
Day 8: Sanjiang-Miao-Dorf-Guilin (full board)
A coach will take holidaymakers to the Miao village. After visiting this village, they will return to Guilin in the late afternoon. Hotel: five star Grand Link Hotel (42 Chuanshan Rd, Guilin, Guangxi, China) or similar.
Day 9: Guilin-Beijing (full board)
Tourists will fly to Beijing and check-in a hotel.
Day 10: Beijing (full board)
After breakfast, travellers will start their trip for the day at Tian’anmen Square. Then, they will enter the Forbidden City with its imperial red walls. For centuries, admission was not allowed for ordinary people. They will also visit the Temple of Heaven. There will be events at the Temple of Heaven, where the emperors prayed for a good harvest every year. Another cultural highlight in the evening: Peking opera. Hotel: five star Beijing Lijingwan International Hotel (28 North Shilipu Dongsihuan Rd Chaoyang District, Beijing, China) or similar.
Day 11: Peking (full board)
After breakfast at the hotel, holidaymakers will visit the Great Wall, which was built to protect the Chinese Empire against nomadic horse people from the north, but never quite fulfilled its purpose. They will have lunch at a local restaurant. Then, they will visit the famous Ming Tombs, where 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) rest. Special dinner: Peking duck.
Day 12: Departure from Beijing
Departure after breakfast from the hotel.

Price is for 1 person, based on single room with 1 coupon per person, or for 2 people, based on double room with 1 coupon per 2 people, depending on option chosen.
