The Cruise
Travellers are invited to experience a two-night mini cruise to Amsterdam, explore the city’s intricate canal system and get a glimpse of its typical gabled houses, coffee shops, and independent boutiques. Holidaymakers will stay in en suite cabins and may take advantage of a choice of restaurants and bars, live entertainment, cinemas, a casino and more. The cruise departs from Hull.
The Hotels
Located in the Amsterdam Nieuw-West district, the Corendon Vitality Hotel entices guests with four star facilities and quick access to the city centre. Relaxation can be enjoyed in en suite rooms boasting modern decor, flat-screen TVs, and bathrooms with walk-in showers, while the on-site restaurant tempts the senses with Mediterranean flavours and gourmet burgers.
Housing art exhibitions, Hotel Artemis awaits travellers just a 10-minute drive from the centre of Amsterdam. It offers accommodation in the en suite rooms which come decorated in a modern style and feature TVs and bathrooms. Dining can be enjoyed at the on-site restaurant offering menu inspired by the current exhibition.
Novotel Amsterdam City is set in the city’s business district, just a short tram ride from the city centre and the airport. When not out and about, travellers can unwind in the modern rooms boasting minimalistic decor, soothing colour schemes, and en suite facilities. Various dishes can be enjoyed at the on-site restaurant, while the bar offers up a selection of drinks and cocktails.

Sitting on the south bank of IJ Lake, Amsterdam is a port city connected to the North Sea, with Amstel River flowing through from south to north. The weather in the capital city of Netherlands features an oceanic climate, strongly influenced by the North Sea. The temperatures during the summer season are mild, with the average high of about 20°C. The city gets a great level of sunshine throughout the season. However, the average low temperature, especially in the evenings, reaches about 12°C. Starting from mid-September, autumn is a rainy and wet period, with October having an average of 13°C and November one of 9°C. Amsterdam rarely sees the temperatures drop below 0°C in winter, with the average high around of 5°C. The level of sunshine drops to one hour per day in December, but this improves as the season progresses. In the spring, the weather starts to heat up. Although March and April are still chilly, May is often very pleasant with highs reaching 20°C.
