The Hotel

Located on the edge of Peak District National Park, 2.5 miles from Chatsworth House and 5.7 miles from Matlock, Devonshire Arms at Beeley offers an ideal base for exploring the local area.

The elegant rooms are split between the main inn and 2 adjoining buildings and were designed by the Duchess of Devonshire. All include hot drink-making facilities, and some come with TVs. Rooms with en suite bathrooms are available, while others have separate bathrooms.

A locally sourced breakfast menu is available in both the original inn with its period features and in the colourful, contemporary brasserie. The Inn serves an array of mouth-watering dishes seven days a week and has an AA Rosette rating.

• Baked whole plaice with French beans, wild mushrooms, heritage potatoes and pea veloute
• Fillet of east coast hake with warm salad of potato, sun-blushed tomato with watercress and vintage cheddar cream
