Run by Robert and Julia Reid who boast over 30 years’ experience in hospitality, the hotel comprises 20 en suite bedrooms, all with flat screen TVs plus tea- and coffee-making facilities, and 12 of which lead onto the ground-floor courtyard. 

The recently refurbished lounge has sofas and easy chairs, making it ideal for a pre- or post-dinner drink. The restaurant and bar serves up locally-sourced cuisine seven days a week, including afternoon teas and three-course Sunday lunches. Outside, guests can hit some drives and putts on the 18-hole golf course, spread out over 6,000 yards and featuring an array of water features and hazards to challenge all standards of player.

The hotel plays host to weddings and special events, with guests able to mingle on the well-kept grounds or in a marquee with a capacity for 200 people. There’s an on-site stylist and beautician to help brides look their best for the big day, and a bridal suite is also available for an overnight stay on the wedding day.
