Course Contents
- CompTIA A+
A+ is made up of two CompTIA courses. The 220-801 course covers computing basics such as hardware components and terminology, while 220-802 focuses on the installation of software such as operating systems, and configuring common features like network connections.
- Network+
This course explores the set up of a network, including media and physical devices. It also examines the set up of different sized networks for different settings, such as offices, as well as their configuration. The course also touches on network management and performance optimisation.
- Security+
This set of modules focuses on how to make a network secure, with sections on risk mitigation, disaster recovery and access control. Various threats are discussed, ranging from environmental hazards to different types of malware that can try and invade a system.
