The Specifics
- Place the cup (with caterpillars) in a safe place away from direct sunlight
- Caterpillars will remain in cup and eat, spin silk and grow up to ten times their original size
- After seven to ten days they hang upside down and harden into chrysalides
- Once the chrysalides have hardened, gently move them into the pop-up butterfly habitat
- Takes approximately ten more days for them to transform into adult Painted Lady butterflies
