Level 1

“Peekaboo” is a game that can be played with by babies 6-12 months and is played by a parent or adult covering Peppa slightly with a cloth or towel, and then switching her on by pressing down so that Peppa makes a noise. Now let your baby look for Peppa and pull away the cloth. Once your baby plays this game more and more, you can cover Peppa completely and let your baby try and completely reveal Peppa when she hears her talk.

Level 2

“Hide & seek - 1” is a game that all children will love and aimed at toddlers 1-2 years. Place a number of objects around your child and as they cover their eyes, hide Peppa behind one of the objects. Switch Peppa on and get your child to walk or crawl to each object to try and find Peppa. Once they are used to this, you can increase the distance and amount of objects to hide Peppa behind.

Level 3

“Hide & seek - 2” is aimed at pre-schoolers aged 2-4 years old and is a progression from the Level 2 hide & seek age. The game is played by a parent, adult or child picking three picture cards and hiding the Peppa figurine behind one of the objects shown on one of the cards i.e. a book, planet pot, basket, box etc. (ensuring all objects are in the same room). Now show the three cards to the players whose turn it is and ask them to find Peppa. There are more gameplays with this ‘level’ that are available in the instructions booklet.

Level 4

“Treasure hunt” is the fourth and final gameplay aimed at children 4-5 years old. A parent, adult or child will hide Peppa behind an object shown on a picture card somewhere in the house. From here, they will work their way backwards, hiding a the picture card for object before, next to an object shown on a picture card where they are at i.e. if Peppa is hidden behind a basket, then they will place the basket picture card next to a ball (for example) and then they will hide the ball picture card next to a book, and then the book picture card next to a box and so on, until you have your starting place. Then children will start looking in one place, and follow the picture cards to the next place, all the way up until they find Peppa.
