The Deal
A family-run endeavour, Gibbs Automotive Services welcomes all makes and models of vehicles. The team can keep wheels rolling safely with a service that includes an oil and filter change and a comprehensive diagnostic check. Customers can also opt to add an MOT test if the time has come to assess their motor.

G: When did you open the garage?
"In 2006. After what seemed like a lifetime in the trade, I decided it was time to put my experience to the ultimate test and open my own garage."
G: What inspired you to want to work with cars?
"My passion for cars stems from my father’s influence and from him teaching me the correct way to use tools. There is nothing like the rewarding feeling gained from finishing a job and seeing the vehicle functioning as intended."
G: Which car models do you specialise in?
"We have had 20 years’ experience with French vehicles, but we are capable and willing to work on any make or model of vehicle."
G: What are some of the areas you cover?
"We offer steering and suspension repairs, diagnostics and electrics, LPG conversions, MOTs, servicing and 24-hour recovery, among other things.”

Further information: Valid Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. Saturdays incur a £10 surcharge. Valid on engines up to 2000cc; £20 surcharge for larger capacity and 4x4s. MOT option valid for class 4 vehicles only. Up to 5 litres of 10-40w semi-synthetic oil used. Excludes vans and motorbikes. Vehicles under manufacturer's warranty may require additional items. Pick-up and delivery of vehicle not included. Upgrades to other oils available for supplement. Additional work will only be recommended if the vehicle is illegal, dangerous, liable to breakdown, would fail its MOT, or if the part concerned will not last until the next due service, or the part may affect other items and would be cheaper to repair now. No additional work will be carried out with prior consent from customer. Service lasts up to 120 mins, specific time cannot be booked only the day, be prepared to leave vehicle from morning for the day as may have to wait for parts etc. Valid on option purchased only.
