ANiMALCOM
This spring Waterside Theatre hosts AniMalcolm, inviting little ones and adults to follow Malcolm on a life-changing school trip. Malcolm is a boy who doesn’t like animals, even though, or especially because his family loves them. Their house is full of pets of all shapes and sizes, although Malcolm would rather see them replaced with the laptop he wanted for his birthday. One day, he sets off on a longed for school trip, not knowing that it would take him to a farm, and that he would see animals in a whole new light. Authored by David Baddiel, the story combines physical theatre, puppetry and the company’s signature storytelling style.
